Woot! I've been selected as a vendor for the first ever Etsy: Made in Canada show in Ottawa!!

Saturday September 27th, 2014 . 9am to 4pm
Bell Sensplex . 1565 Maple Grove Road . Kanata ON

So psyched!!!

While in Nova Scotia this summer, I happened across a fellow collector of bottles and couldn't help myself. I'll post more photos in the coming days after I research some details about date, use, etc.

He mostly found them in the mud flat in behind his house as people used to simply through their garbage into the water. To state the obvious, this is how sea glass begins.

Note how small the cobalt blue medicine bottle is in comparison to the others; this is why cobalt blue sea glass is rare.

I am thrilled to announce that Tides of Time Gallery & Gifts in Lockeport, NS is now stocking SeaCycledGlass jewelry!

The gallery represents over 30 artists and artisans - there is such a lot of talent in the region. I am excited to have my jewelry made from sea glass I collected from beaches in the area included.

Please do check this gem of a gallery out. Definitely worth seeking out as part of a day trip along the South Shore.

Just learned that I have been accepted as a vendor at the MAC Fair Christmas show, Cheer!, on Dec 6, 2014. So it feels like it's Christmas despite being the beginning of July.

Stay tuned for other shows, hopefully a few over September through to December in the Ottawa area.

In the meantime, here are a couple of photos from the garden party...
