I am excited to be working on a custom order. Such fun working with a client to tell the story behind a gem, of a relationship, of a special time and place.

Sketches are done. The especially wonderful result turned out to be a few new designs that I want to develop for a new line of jewelry. Next step, make!

Come drop by and say hi! On Sunday Dec 1, I will be at the Shopoholic! Event in downtown Ottawa.

It was great to see so many out at the Canterbury Craft Sale today.

I really enjoyed chatting with people about their walks along the beaches of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and B.C. Canada's coasts still have lots of sea glass to be found, although the consensus among those I spoke with today is that there is less of it each year.

The most memorable moment for me had to be when the woman came up to me and asked, 'Kristina, do you remember me?' I paused... while I am pretty good at remembering faces, I couldn't place her. Then she said, 'I'm Helene'. I gave her a huge hug. The last time I had seen her I was 6. Over 30 years ago (avoiding exact math here). She is the daughter of the woman who used to babysit my sister and I, and often looked after us as well. Her sister, Sylvie, and she also had a booth at the craft sale today. Helene used to take us to the outdoor Canterbury wading pool, right next door. I am still smiling :)

I am beginning by listing the oval necklace and the dangly, sparkly earrings. To get up and running, I have listed pieces that are representative of my collection.

In the coming weeks, I will create additional listings with more photos. These are one of a kind handmade pieces so photos are important! When you look at a listing, the photos posted are of that specific piece so you know exactly what it looks like.
