Collection: Green
Green glass comes in a variety of hues. The most common is a bright, vivid green often referred to Kelley green, or emerald green, as it a similar color to emerald gem stones. Wine bottles, beer bottles and spirits are often sold in kelley green glass.
Lime green glass, the color of Chartreuse or the semi-precious gem stone, peridot, is less common that Kelley green. It was used to bottle Heineken beer and Mountain Dew soft drink, for example. It has a vibrancy, akin to fresh spring leaves, or the color of sun beams through the tree canopy.
Olive green, is sometimes compared to the color of jade, was used for antique gin and bitters bottles. It is currently seen in olive oil bottles.
