Fluid Earrings - Cobalt Blue Sea Glass from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada with Sterling Silver Accent

The sinuous flowy silver squiggle appealed to me on several counts: the sparkly horizon over the white caps on the ocean, the ebb and flow of the tidal zone, the dynamic fluid currents, the sea breeze, the laqueur on the inside of shells, the sea weed, so many shapes and feelings captured by this flash of silver.

The chunky cobalt blue sea glass has weathered into gently nubby nugget that looks to me like the outline of the coast. It was collected  from a beach near Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The circle and jump rings are 925 Sterling silver. The earring hook wire is hypoallergenic nickel and lead-free silver plate so it is strong, light and comfortable to wear even if you have sensitive skin. There is a ribbed plastic safety clutch to prevent the earring from accidentally falling out. Each set of earrings are one-of-a-kind. The earrings dangle approx 5 cm or 2".
