Shoreline Pendant - Aqua ice blue sea glass from Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada mounted on 925 Sterling silver bail with chain

Aqua blue sea glass is a favorite color for many. It can take on an icy clear blue or a more turquoise sea foam hue. The color of this piece is somewhere in between. I have taken photos in various light conditions and on different backgrounds to give a sense of how this color can shift.  The sea g;ass was found on a beach near Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. It has been weathered to a smooth nearly triangular shape that is reminiscent of a heart.

The smaller scale of the design of this pendant lends itself to someone who prefers classic, discrete jewelry, who may be petite, or may be younger. It would be a lovely gift for a child, for example.

The sea glass is securely mounted on the 925 Sterling silver bail with a clear epoxy. The Sterling silver chain measures 16" long. I may have other chains available so message me if you wish to discuss an upgrade.
